Adonidia merrillii (Veitchia merrillii Manilla Palm)

An easy growing smaller palm with a single trunk. One of the mainstays of Hawaii landscapes. Sometimes called the Christmas palm because of the large bunches of bright red fruit that hang in the winter months. It grows well in full or partial sun and is easy to grow in as a container palm. It needs protection from cold temps.
